  • Volunteers are the lifeblood of this event and to show my thanks - all volunteers will receive the following:

    • A stainless steel pint glass from this year's race

    • A Dan Blakeslee custom print from both 2020 and 2021

    • $10 gift certificate to Loaded Question Brewery in Portsmouth, NH

    • We need 20 the following volunteers:

      • 4 for registration (will be reassigned after registration to road/intersection duty)

        • Arrival time is 7am

      • 1 day of registration (will be reassigned after registration to road/intersection duty)

        • Arrival time is 7am

      • 1 for water stop oversight

      • 1 for event setup assistance

        • Arrival time is 7am

      • 6 for parking

        • Arrival time is 7am

        • Parking attendants are required to attend a pre-race meeting at Great Island Common to review parking requirements, promptly followed by a visit to a local brewer where your first 2 beers are on me! This volunteer position requires a bit more work and prep time because New Castle is strict with parking restrictions.

      • 1 for course sweep on bike

        • Arrival time is 9:15am

      • 6 for road/intersection safety

        • Arrival time to all road/intersections varies between is 9:20am and 9:45am

        • You are required to wear something bright, such as a highlight yellow shirt, a night time running reflection vest, etc. If you don't have anything, bibs are available at the registration tent to use (you will be required to sign them out and return them after final runner has passed you).
